Brief Profile
Born on Corellia, joined the Jedi Order at a few years of age, and remained at the Jedi Academy on Corellia until he was 15, at which point he transferred to
the Temple on Naboo to begin more advanced student training. At the age of 19, the city of Theed was attacked by the Sith, and he was forced to engage the Sith
with another Padawan. Defeated rapidly by the Sith Verlei, he was given an option: convert to the Sith, or experience the agony that she would inflict prior to
taking his life. Given the choice, it seemed like no choice at all, and he thus submitted to her will.
Taken to Korriban by the Sith, Aslyn came under the tutelage of the mute Sith Lady Silencia, who spent several years training him in the arts of the Sith, such
that he was wholly converted to their cause, though with several differences appearing as a consequence of his initial training among the Jedi Order: the first
and foremost being his reservations over taking life. Invariably, he was elevated to the rank of Sith Knight, abandoning his name of Aslyn and taking upon the
Sith title of Darth Tirdarius.
From there, he studied the various subtle arts to be found available to knights of the Order, focusing primarily on illusions and mind tricks, preferring those
over the more overt skills studied by many of his brethren. He also took up the role of Sith Archivist, working tirelessly in research and study, as well as
compiling information for briefings and the like for the Masters and Knights out in the field. He also trained a single Padawan while at the rank of Knight,
before accompanying several other Sith to the Jedi Temple on Naboo, with the distinct intention of destroying the Archives there.
Following this mission, he was promoted to the rank of Sith Master by Lord Emalfni. During this time, he proceeded to work with many other students in that
capacity, primarily running group classes to teach basic Force skills and the arts of lightsaber combat. However, during the Battle of Korriban, in which a
number of Jedi engaged the Sith at their own Temple, he encountered a Jedi Master that he had first met when the two of them had been teenagers: Bethany
Kismet. It turned out, as she then explained, that he had been responsible for her joining the Jedi Order, at the same moment when he had been forced to become
a Sith himself. That very notion set doubts within his own mind, and he began to inwardly challenge the ways of the Sith, and his adherence to them.
The final break came on a mission where the Sith attacked a group of Jedi Padawans, under the protection of only a single Master. It was then that Tirdarius
decided to renounce his allegiance to the Sith, and turned on his former allies in favour of the Jedi. Successful in this, he returned with the Jedi to their
enclave on Yinchorr. After several weeks of interrogations and discussions, he was permitted to join the Jedi Order with the rank of Jedi Master, as a
consequence of his skills, training and capability in teaching students.
From there, he worked in training students on Yinchorr, and maintained the smaller Archives there, although he would occasionally accompany Bethany Kismet on
missions in the field. He also assisted Sia Dallia in her training to Knighthood, and C'orringath Ventraas in his post-Knighthood training, heading towards
his elevation to Mastery. However, the more he remained with the Jedi, the more the Master invariably discovered that he had trouble reconciling his dual
nature, and felt the need to retreat, to take some time away from his responsibilities and studies to simply find himself and his niche. To that extent, he
took a freighter and proceeded to leave Yinchorr, travelling to various worlds in the Galaxy, concealing his identity as a Jedi.
Returning several years thereafter, he went immediately to Naboo, there to work on his own skills among his Jedi brethren, and also proceeded to take several
students, in order to hone his old skills in training. However, he now tends to work more often in the field than he had done previously, to which extent he
remains away from the Jedi Temple more often than not.
